One thing to clarify about the subject for newcomers as well as a reminder to

“seasoned veterans” is that public resorts we travel to don’t officially condone
public sex. Take it to the seclusion of your room or management can escort you off
the property. Sexual harassment isn’t allowed, is against the law in most

Areas, and clothes optional or Naturist resorts surely don’t permit it. and…
No means No.
Now with all of that said… let us get real here. Most all the resorts we
Attribute are certainly stunning in their own beauty and are truly a romantic dream
come true. In addition many of the resorts are for couples only. Sooooo… lets
Blend an intimate atmosphere, a few potent umbrella drinks, a booty nude couple on
a moonlit strand, and it isn’t uncommon for inhibitions to “fly out the window”,
so to speak.
At most resorts, folks are careful to discuss their “private moments” discreetly
out and away from others, but at other resorts some people can be quite the
exhibitionists some times. Managements enforcement of the “no public sex” policy
is often inconsistent and a lot depends on the mix of guests at a particular
resort at any specified time.
The bottom line is that some resorts are fairly laid back and sedate most of the
time, but others can have a quite highly sexually charged feeling most of
the time. Again can not stress enough how significant it is, especially for first
timers, to discuss with us what you desire from your vacation. We want to help
you make the right choice for you, but we can do that only if we understand what you
are searching for.
So the big night arrived. I
had called the organizer in Taunton before and confirmed that it was still
on, and that I would be welcome as a lone man. I traveled the 20 miles to
Street, and found the
pool. I was too early, and so I sat in the auto
park waiting to see if anyone else arrived. Soon a car with four people
arrived, and they all went over to the pool. Seeing one other only guy waiting,
I decided that I seemed a little furtive, and so grabbed my towel and marched
boldly over to the pool. Inside I found a dozen people already waiting around a
table where the club secretary was chatting and joking as everyone paid their
entrance fees. I waited my turn and then clarified that I’d called before.
Immediately, Bob the Taunton organizer of this swim shook my hand and welcomed
me warmly. I felt so much more at ease to know that I was in the appropriate place and
wouldnt be asked to leave.
I ‘d read that communal
Altering was the norm, so when everyone went into the Ladies changing room I
followed. Bob showed me where the Sauna was, and within a few minutes I
was undressed and in . I loved a couple of minutes of vigorous swimming, and
Afterward took a rest at the shallow end. I was surprised to find that the number of
Individuals had grown to around forty, with virtually all ages from an nearly awesome born
baby (not swimming) through small kids, young and old adults. There were,
On the other hand, no teenagers – that came as no surprise. I spoke to a couple of other
Folks there, both really friendly and welcoming. The Sauna was most pleasing,
relaxing muscles and soothing tired joints. I didnt understand that one is expected
to take a towel into the sauna to sit upon, but once inside it was obvious that
everyone else had! No one mentioned it, though, and I’ll know for next time.
Overall, I found the
experience a great happiness; not least to understand that there are a large number of
people who believe nudism is standard. My only minor criticism would be to inquire
all regulars to speak more to ‘newbies’ they were awesome once and a welcoming word
makes all the difference.
My decision to be open
about naturism has taken a setback. When I told a close relative where I ‘d
been I was called A filthy little pervert, and told that Grownups have revolting
bodies. Well, I believe otherwise, and I think that my relative is all the
poorer for not experiencing the simple pleasure of nudism. I know I shall be
returning to the next evening at Burnham on Sea.
A pool of naked dream
The curtain will drop tomorrow night as the clothes come off at the Canada Games
Pool for a two-hour nude swim.
To shield the splashing nudists from the lecherous gazes of voyeurs – or anyone
else interested in gawking at bodies in the buff – the city’s parks and
Diversion section required the Cariboo Nudist Society to draw the drapes
for the duration of the event. From 8:30 p.m. until 10:30 p.m., the pool’s
windows will be blocked.
For a nudism greenhorn, Saturday’s swim could be an experience that may liberate
the neophyte from more than just the clothes. After all, human beings are born
nudists, says Teddy van Geemen, an event organizer.
“It’s a great sense of liberation and freedom when you first attempt it,” he says,
especially when it is done with a group.
“Social nudism is defined by great recognition. Nobody cares whether you
are fat or skinny.”
Van Geemen’s pal, Connie Robson, was started about six years ago when she
